After thinking about what I wanted to do for the cover I remembered a magazine I used to collect before it went fully digital called Shonen Jump, a publisher for manga. I used the newer cover style and tried to replicate it, making a concept for a fencing manga. The words behind the figure is the title of the manga, which say's "Pret Allez" which is a fencing term meaning "ready fence." I also split the diagonal line that the words sit on into different sections resembling a fencing strip where a bout takes place.
