After thinking about what I wanted to do for the cover I remembered a magazine I used to collect before it went fully digital called Shonen...

So far I am trying to connect three different ideas. The vintage leather press, old hand water pumps, and oil rigs.
I can't say I recognize any of these photos, but I definitely understood what you mean't that they give a sense of familiarity. I think the most successful image(s) to work with would either be the first or the second. There is just something so compelling about those two.
